Open Access Initiatives for Math Researchers

-New Initiatives in Scholarly Publishing: York Libraries Support for article processing fees in selected open access journals
-Public access to research as per funder mandates (CIHR & PubMed Central Canada): Searching for funded research papers using Web of Science

Drop by Scott library any time between 10am - 5pm to create a YorkSpace account and learn how to deposit your scholarly works in York University's institutional repository. Librarians will be available to guide you through the process step by step.

Open Access Policy Workshop

By unanimous vote on 1st October 2009, York University Librarians and Archivists adopted an Open Access Policy to govern their research outputs.

To help librarians and archivists meet the requirements of this newly adopted policy, this workshop will focus on strategies for evaluating publisher policies and negotiating with publishers. This will include a hands-on component, introducing participants to the YorkSpace deposit process.
